In Microsoft Knowledge Base there is article 968429 entitled “List of currently available hotfixes for Distributed File System (DFS) technologies in Windows Server 2008 and in Windows Server 2008 R2”. Unfortunately the article was never updated since spring'09 though a lagre number of hofixes was released after that. Here I've tried to bring my own version of the list.

There are several desicions I made when building the list differently from the official one.

1. I didn't include any pre-SP2 hotfixes (e.g. hotfixes that were released before SP2, were rolled up into SP2 and therefore not available for systems with SP2 applied). I assume if you're interested in latest hotfixes you should already have been applied at least the current Service Pack. Though for hotfixes that contain both post-SP1 and post-SP2 binaries I include both milestones for your reference.
2. I don't divide the list into several tables according to different role services (i.e. “DFS Namespaces [DFS-N]” vs. “DFS Replication [DFS-R]”). The reason for this is when you see a table soley devoted to DFS-R binaries you could expect that every hotfix listed there contains some version of dfsrs.exe. That's not correct since there are also hotfixes for other components that don't contain “Microsoft-Windows-DFSR-Core-ServerOnly” package. Of course I could build a dedicated table for every package but I suppose that would be unhandy and un-intuitively the same time.

Feel free to comment if you have any suggestions for tables like this regarding either the content (i.e. a hotfix missing) or presentation (i.e. usability criticism).
